Axisymmetric Equivalent Area axie-geom-v1-mm.stp: STEP file description for the Axisymmetric Equivalent Area configration It should be scaled on import to your grid generation system by 0.001 to yield meters. The model has a 32.92 (m) reference body length. The model was orignially created in JAGUAR by George Anderson. It was shaped by Cart3D inverse design to approximate the NASA Concept 25D with Flow Through Nacelle inviscid solution at 3 body lengths. A discrete surface grid was sliced to extract radius as a function of x. This extracted function was resampled with interpolation to provide uniformly spaced points to construct a OpenCSM script. A constant radius section and a radius as a cosign of x section were added to close out the radius distribution. To validate: The nose is expected to be at (0,0,0) the aft tip of the body of revolution expected to be at (121.92,0.0,0.0) in meters. axie-geom-v1-mm.dat: A list of x-position and radius for the configuration. These points were used to build the STEP file via an OpenCSM script.
